Discover Manu aims to inspire everyone with the astounding beauty of the Manu Biosphere Reserve by incorporating a digital archive of images and video with a crowd-sourced knowledge resource. The Manu Biosphere Reserve includes the largest national park in Peru and is one of the most biodiverse places on earth. The reserve was founded in 1973 and declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1987. Until modern times it was largely unexplored and so its stunning ecosystems remain undisturbed.
This initiative was set up by the crees foundation, in association with the National Park, but aims to get as many people as possible involved. If you want to show off your amazing photos of Manu, have a brilliant story about the area, or know someone who might, please get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to feature your stuff and will, of course, give full credit to you and a link to your website.
